A gifted cosmetic potential of papaya: A review

Abstract:

For decades, people have valued the papaya fruit for its exceptional beauty properties. Papaya extracts, which are abundant in antioxidants, vitamins, and enzymes, are frequently used in conventional beauty routines to improve the condition of the skin and hair. The bioactive ingredients in the fruit, such as papain, beta-carotene, and vitamin C, have been demonstrated to nourish and condition hair, encouraging healthy growth and shine, hydrate and plump the skin, improving texture and elasticity, and stimulate collagen production, reducing fine lines and wrinkles. This results in exfoliating and brightening the skin and reducing acne and hyperpigmentation. The effectiveness of papain, Carica papaya extracts, and other bioactive ingredients in a range of cosmetic formulations including face masks, scrubs, shampoos, conditioners, and nail care products is explained. is explained. As a natural substitute for synthetic substances, Carica papaya is a versatile and effective ingredient in cosmetic products, as our thorough review demonstrates.
